Itinerary

Your adventure begins in Nepal’s capital, Kathmandu. After landing at Tribhuvan International Airport, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the vibrant streets of Thamel, preparing for the trek, and attending a trek briefing.

Enjoy a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, Nepal’s adventure hub. The journey offers picturesque views of the Trishuli River, terraced fields, and rolling hills. Upon arrival, relax by the tranquil Phewa Lake and explore Pokhara’s lively Lakeside area.

After breakfast, take a short drive to Nayapul (1,070m), the trek’s starting point. Cross the Modi Khola River and trek through Birethanti, Hile, and Tikhedhunga, gradually ascending stone staircases to reach Ulleri, a charming Magar village with breathtaking mountain views.

The trail takes you through dense rhododendron and oak forests, home to colorful birds and wildlife. As you gain altitude, the view of Annapurna South (7,219m) and Hiunchuli (6,441m) becomes more prominent. Arrive at Ghorepani, a picturesque village famous for its stunning Himalayan panorama.

Wake up before dawn for a sunrise trek to Poon Hill, the best vantage point for panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, and Manaslu. After witnessing an unforgettable sunrise, descend to Ghorepani, have breakfast, and trek to Tadapani, passing through lush forests and cascading waterfalls.

The trail descends through dense forests of rhododendron, oak, and bamboo, opening up to terraced fields and traditional villages. Enjoy a spectacular view of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain) as you approach Chhomrong, the last major settlement before Annapurna Base Camp.

Today’s trek follows the Modi Khola River, passing through Bamboo and Dovan. The trail meanders through misty forests filled with moss-covered trees and waterfalls. Overnight stay at Himalaya, a quiet stopover before the final ascent to ABC.

This is the most exhilarating day of the trek! Ascend to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (MBC), where the scenery becomes increasingly dramatic. The final stretch to Annapurna Base Camp unveils jaw-dropping views of Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and the Annapurna Glacier. Witness the star-studded sky and the Milky Way at night from the base camp.

Wake up early for a mesmerizing sunrise over the Annapurna Range. After breakfast, retrace your steps down past MBC, Himalaya, and Dovan, reaching Bamboo for an overnight stay.

Descend via Chhomrong to Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs. Enjoy a relaxing soak before driving back to Pokhara, where you can celebrate the completion of an epic journey.
