Travel FAQs

The peak trekking seasons are Spring (March to May) and Autumn (September to November). During these months, the weather is stable, the skies are crystal clear, and you get the most spectacular mountain views.

Yes. To ensure your safety and support local communities, the Nepal Tourism Board now requires all international trekkers to be accompanied by a licensed mountain guide in most trekking regions. At Trailblazers Nepal, all our guides are certified, experienced, and English-speaking.

We have treks for everyone! Our “Easy” trips (like Ghorepani Poon Hill) are suitable for beginners with basic fitness. For “Strenuous” treks (like Everest Base Camp), we recommend 2–3 months of cardio preparation (hiking, running, or swimming) before you arrive.

Most of our packages are “all-inclusive” once you land. This typically includes airport transfers, hotel stays in Kathmandu/Pokhara, trekking permits, tea house accommodation, and a professional guide/porter team. (International flights and travel insurance are usually separate).

Safety is our #1 priority. Our itineraries include “Acclimatization Days” to let your body adjust. Our guides carry first-aid kits and oximeters to monitor your oxygen levels daily. If someone feels unwell, we follow a strict “Safety First” protocol, which includes immediate descent or helicopter evacuation if necessary.
