Overview

Overview

Imagine yourself walking through untouched trails, where the crisp mountain air fills your lungs and breathtaking views unfold at every turn. The Kori Trek, an 8-day journey into Nepal's lesser-known trekking trails, offers a perfect blend of adventure, solitude, and natural beauty. Unlike the crowded trails of Annapurna and Everest, Kori remains a hidden paradise, nestled in the Annapurna region, providing an authentic Himalayan experience.

At 4,200 meters (13,780 feet) above sea level, Kori Hill rewards trekkers with mesmerizing panoramic views of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung Himal, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail Mountain). The trail takes you through dense rhododendron forests, charming Gurung villages, and vast alpine meadows, making it a journey of diverse landscapes and rich cultural encounters. This moderate trek is perfect for trekkers looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure without the extreme altitude challenges of higher Himalayan routes.

Best Season to Trek

The best time for the Kori Trek is during spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November).

Spring: The forests come alive with blooming rhododendrons, making the trek colorful and vibrant.
Autumn: This season offers clear skies, pleasant temperatures, and stunning views of the Himalayas.
Winter (December to February) is possible but can be challenging due to snowfall and cold temperatures.
Monsoon (June to August) is not recommended due to heavy rains and slippery trails.
