Kapuche Lake is situated to the northeast of Sikles Village in the Kaski district of Nepal, within the Annapurna Conservation Area. It is recognized as the lowest altitude glacier lake in the world.

The lake is located at an elevation of approximately 2,546 meters (8,353 feet) above sea level.

The trek typically spans 4 days, starting from Pokhara and passing through villages such as Sikles and Hugu before reaching Kapuche Lake.

The optimal periods for this trek are from mid-February to mid-June and mid-September to mid-December, offering clear skies and moderate temperatures. For those interested in observing avalanches from Annapurna II, the months from mid-February to April are particularly favorable.
