Your journey begins in Kathmandu, the vibrant heart of Nepal. After your arrival, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, meet your fellow trekkers and go over the details of your trek during a briefing.

Spend the day exploring Kathmandu’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites, like the Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple). Let the energy of the city fuel your excitement as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Catch a 1.5-hour flight to Dhangadhi, the gateway to Nepal’s Far-Western region. As you walk through the lively streets and markets, feel the anticipation build for the trek that awaits.

A 5-hour drive takes you through lush hills and small villages, each offering a glimpse into the life of the region’s people. Dadeldhura welcomes you with its stunning sunset views—a perfect introduction to the journey ahead.

Journey further into the region with a 6-7 hour drive to Gokuleshwar, the starting point for your trek. Feel the transition as you leave the roads behind and enter the wilderness.

A short drive to Latinath Temple sets the stage for your trek to Paribagar Village. The journey through dense forests and rural settlements begins here—an unforgettable experience filled with tranquility.

The path meanders through lush forests, streams, and small villages, immersing you in the remote beauty of the region. You’ll spend the night in Makarigaad, a peaceful village nestled in the hills.

Ascend higher as you journey toward Siti. The landscapes become more dramatic as you pass through isolated villages, with the snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas becoming more visible.

Cross through Baitadi and Darchula regions, heading toward Domal. With every step, you’ll feel the altitude increase, as well as the beauty of the land unfolding before you.

This is the day you’ve been waiting for—the journey to Api Himal Base Camp. The terrain becomes more rugged and remote, and you’ll be greeted by stunning views of Api, Nampa, and Saipal Himal. Spend the night at the base camp, surrounded by the majestic peaks.

Take the day to rest and explore the Base Camp area. Absorb the beauty of the glaciers, lakes, and towering peaks, and allow your body to acclimatize to the altitude.

After spending the night at the base camp, begin your descent, retracing your steps through Domal, Siti, and Makarigaad. With each step, you’ll reflect on the grandeur of the journey.

Once back in Dhangadhi, a long drive will bring you to this bustling city, where you can relax and enjoy the comforts of a hotel after your trek.

Fly back to Kathmandu, where you can spend your day shopping, exploring, or reflecting on your trek over a farewell dinner.

Departure

After an unforgettable adventure, it’s time to say goodbye. We’ll transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey, carrying memories of the majestic Api Himal forever.
